 low carb chapatti recipe


Prep time: 5 minutes

Cook time: 10 minutes

 

Ingredients:


4 chapatis

 

·      50g coconut flour

·      75g almond flour

·      1 tbsp (7g) psyllium husk

·      1 egg

·      1 tsp xanthan gum

·      1 tsp baking powder

·      ¼ tsp salt

·      2 tsp apple cider vinegar

·      A bit of water


Optional: a little ghee for frying.

 

Instructions:

1. Put all the ingredients together in a bowl.

2. Mix until combined

3. Take the dough out and knead it with your hands for about one minute.

4. Leave the dough to rest for 10 minutes.

5. Divide the dough into 4 equal parts and roll it into balls.

6. Sprinkle some coconut flour on a baking sheet and over the dough balls.

7. Roll each dough ball flat and evenly thin with a rolling pin between two baking sheets.

8. Bake them without oil over medium heat in a skillet until golden brown, or use a little ghee for
        a bit more crispiness.
